造句的乐趣

老师是这样教他们认字的：挂一张大大的照片，要每个孩子说出照片里的一样东西，老师就在旁边写下那个字。接下来几天，让孩子们熟悉那些字。一个星期后，孩子们用自己的字造句，然后尝试读那些句子。

今天老师发给一张纸，上面是同学们造的句子：

13. The workman who is wearing a vest and a hardhat is standing beside the grader.

“第五句。”

“怎么会想到这样的句子？”

“想了好久才想到怎样不以The开头。其他句子都是The开头的，同学们读到第五句，还是The...老师就会更正他们。你说这是不是一个很妙的陷阱？”
